The last step, after everything else
Surgery finishes the medical work. Restorative tattooing finishes the picture: an areola where reconstruction left a blank, a scar softened into the skin around it, stretch marks blended back toward your own tone. It is not makeup and it is not a cover-up. It is pigment, placed with care, so that what you see in the mirror looks like you again.

A realistic areola and nipple, drawn in pigment with light and shadow, for one side or both. Usually two visits. Often covered by insurance after mastectomy.

Scar Camouflage
Custom-matched skin-tone pigment worked into healed, pale scars and stretch marks so they blend with the skin around them. Cleft-lip revisions, C-sections, tummy tucks, facelifts, burns.

Twenty-five years in cosmetics and pigment work, close to a thousand permanent-makeup procedures, and advanced training in areola restoration and scar camouflage. Susan works alone, in a private suite, and books one client at a time.

HOW IT WORKS
Three visits, no surprises
STEP 1
Consultation
Thirty minutes in the studio or by phone. We look at the area, talk through what is possible, match pigment to your skin, and go over healing and cost. No commitment.
STEP 2
The session
Numbing first. Most areola sessions run about two hours; camouflage depends on the area. You leave with written aftercare and Susan's number.
STEP 3
Refinement
Six to eight weeks later, once the skin has healed and settled, a shorter visit to deepen color and finish detail. Included in the plan we agree on.

Insurance
Areola and nipple tattooing after mastectomy is covered reconstruction under the Women's Health and Cancer Rights Act on most private plans. We give you the paperwork to file. How reimbursement works.
Clinical standards
Single-use needles and pigment cups, medical-grade sterilisation, bloodborne-pathogen certification, written consent and aftercare. Surgeons can see the full protocol on the referral page.
Timing
Areola work is done once reconstruction has fully healed, usually six months or more after the last surgery and with your surgeon's okay. Scars should be at least a year old and fully pale.
